Angullia - Sandy Island paradise

Anguilla seemed like just another island with a white sandy beach since the only tour/trip that easy cruise had on offer there was a transfer to Shoal Bay. We didn't sign up for it cos we reckoned that we could get there some othere way by means of local transport for less - like normal. So we had breakfast and took the tender ashore. This was an interesting one cos the wind had whipped up the sea. Getting ON to the tender from the walkway took a while since it was bouncing around so much. The tender was chocablock full, and was bouncing around like a tennis ball on the way to the beach.

Rich is tired of tying so Im taking over :)

Oncw we were on shore we walked up and down the beach for a bit and found a guy who whould take us out to a litte isalnd called Sandy Island for $10 return. We took him up on the offer and soon we were boucing ove the waves in a Bayliner getting sprayed by the sea. Apon reaching the isalnd we were amazed at how timy it was! probably about 200o Sq Mtrs or about 1/4 the size of a rugby field~ Complete with, coconut trees, coral reef, white sands and best of all A BAR!!!!

It took us about 2 mins to explore the island by walkinf around the whole cirumfrence! The end of our exploration found us back at the bar so we ordered a cold beer and went for a swim in the warm crystal clear waters.
I took this pic off the web so you know what i am talking about, We will post some more of our own pics when we ger back to CT

Got to run the Suttle to the airport is here.

cheers
