Jamaica!!!

We've arrived in jamaica. The 36hrs of travel was dead on! We did still manage to PULLL IT with some local fish cuisine, and a few cocktails washed down with RED STRIPE beer at a few bars on the beach... We also got harassed by the locals trying to sell us anything from cigarettes to any cocktail of the local "herbs". We slept WELL last night. Woke up in the morning when it was light, and after dozing for a bit - suddenly realised its time to rise, only to see that it was only 8:30... We got up showered, and headed out to the shops to buy some stuff... Taking the beach - we cruised passed a million different bars and people already working on their tans. We also walked pased a bar withe telephone booth thats IN the water which was pretty cool.

And yet again - we got harassed by the locals. The problem is the accent is so cool - you just want to stop and speak to them!!!!

But - we bought beer, coke, bread eggs and cheese and one or 2 other things – and it came to $1411.19 in the local currency. I paid with a US$50 bill and now have 1700dollars change… We also got a plug from the hardware store for abt 26dollars. This was of course after trying to tell them that we need a pl-u-u-u-g and not a plug - that took some convincing! So we are now sorted for the re-charding of the notebook. And w're sitting here next to the office at the hotel typing away on a wireless connection! But - James and i went for a swim and were just chilling with a beer, then a local pulls in on a jetski screaming about a HUGE party "OLD SCHOOL" for 30dollars all you can drink - so that may be whats on the cards for tonight! But for now - we're organising a tour to the appleton rum factory tomorrow and the one waterfall that we saw on the travel channel before leaving....
